Founder & Principal

Matthew Giejda

Matthew built UAF to take projects from artwork and file preparation through printing, finishing, and installation. The work shown here includes a completed restaurant interior, a custom exterior sign, and architectural surface installations.

His operating philosophy is straightforward: your home or business deserves predictability, clean execution, and a crew that treats the space with respect. Every UAF engagement is structured around those expectations, whether coordinating with your builder, aligning with your designer, or installing directly for your family.

Operational Background

The foundation of our discipline.

  • United States Navy

Aviation Machinist's Mate (AD), Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department. Engine-system maintenance under documented work-order discipline.

  • Commercial Facilities Management

2,000,000 square feet of demisable commercial space under direct operational responsibility across a 12-property portfolio. Managing tenants, access, and finish standards.

  • General Manager, High-End Landscape

Operational responsibility for managing crews, schedules, and client expectations on exacting residential properties.

  • Multi-Campus Winter Operations

Concurrent winter-services contract management, including overnight escalation protocols. Delivering on hard deadlines in live, occupied environments.

  • Controlled Site Remediation

Vendor on a controlled forestry clearance covering a 60-acre regulated site, executed under strict federal handling protocols.

  • Public Facility Maintenance

Direct experience with procurement cycles, scheduling constraints, and the realities of working inside occupied buildings.
